Today we looked at various film trailers for inspiration for the car crash scene. We found the horror film 'It Follows', which came out in 2014. Although the genre does not match our social realist narrative, some of the shots shown use a car as a prop. We also thought the fades were extremely effective at the beginning to create the feeling of emptiness and melancholy.
This has influenced some of the particular shots we will use after the car has crashed.
