Sound Effects - Car Crash Scene

As we have been beginning to draw up a storyboard, we have decided to use the car crash scene as our climax in the narrative.
Because of this decision, we have thought of multiple conventions we can use to intensify and emphasise the severity of the crash. Sound will be one of the most important features of this scene and must be executed in a way in which leaves the audience in shock and anticipation.

The most frequent sounds that you would hear from a crash would be things such as hissing smoke from the car bonnet, dripping oil, tyre skids, car horn and maybe even a quiet roar of fire from the car.

Our initial idea is to overlap all these sounds on iMovie, introducing them one at a time so each sound is clear and significant. They will also be readjusted in pitch, tempo and volume to fit our editing. However before doing any of this, we will contact the producer of each sound effect in terms of copyright and credit.
