In order to inspire ourselves with the genre and mood of Social Realism.
We have begun to watch related films such as Fish Tank and Kidulthood to get ideas for our own trailer in terms of codes and conventions, mise en scene and editing/camera shots of films that orientate round social issues such as poverty, body image, gangs, drugs, drinking and homosexuality.
I have created a mood board to present the features and feel of social realism as a genre.
